Accuracy is not always a duty. Sometimes it is.
Section 8(3) has two triggers.
Data likely to be used for a decision affecting you,
or disclosed to another Data Fiduciary.
Pause. Then what must they ensure?
Completeness, accuracy and consistency.
All three, not just accuracy.
The trigger is likelihood, not certainty.
So the duty starts before the decision does.
A decision about you runs on their data.
