The law has a name for you. It isn't "user".
Data Principal.
The individual the personal data is about.
Every duty a company has points at that word.
Pause. Who is it when the data is a child's?
Both. The child, and the parent.
Section 2 folds the parent into the name itself.
Same for a lawful guardian acting for a person with disability.
So asking on their behalf is not a favour you are granted.
It is your own name in the definition.
